Richard Howe

Richard C. Howe, 55, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008.

He was born and raised in Havre de Grace, Maryland, but had resided most of his life in Kingsport.

His father, Heiskell P. Howe; and sister, Virginia Miller, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Howe of Kingsport; one daughter, Tonya Vicars and husband Jason of Kingsport; one son, Ricky Howe of Kingsport; one special grandson, Hayden Vicars; his mother, Neely R. Howe of Zephyr Hills, Florida; two sisters, Shirley Kupisch of Zephyr Hills, Florida, Penny Wolf and husband Steve of Surgoinsville; and four brothers, Joe Howe and wife Carol of Whiteford, Maryland, Dennis Howe and wife Patty of Delta, Pennsylvania, Allen Howe and wife Pam of Rogersville, Tennessee, and Kenny Howe and wife Sue of Zephyr Hills, Florida.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with Pastor David Salley officiating. Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Vicars, Lynn White, Gary Minton, Walt Graham, Bob Repass, Eric Howe, and Josh Howe.
