Richard James Loveland, Jr. 53, 174 Anco Drive, Kingsport, died Friday, December 4, 2009, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Bennington, Vermont, he came to Kingsport at an early age. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Lou Loveland, Tennessee; his father, Richard James Loveland, Sr., Stroudsburg, PA; three sisters, Mary Limbeck, Hazlet, NJ, Sue Loveland, Port Richey, FL, and Barbara Terrantino, Stroudsburg, PA; a brother, Ed Loveland, Stroudsburg, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00. Services will be conducted at 2:00 in the chapel, with Evangelist Ray Bledsoe officiating.
