Richard Lee Price, 86, of Livonia, MI, died Sunday, January 24, 2010. Mr. Price was born on December 30, 1923, in Rogersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George R. and Mary Letha Brooks Price; and a sister, Mabel Buchanan.
Mr. Price is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine Thompson Price; daughters, Joy Elaine Price and Libby Korpal and husband Gary; grandchildren, Matthew Good, Amanda Good, and Jacob Bachus; and step-grandchildren, Megan Korpal and Justin Korpal.
The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Vermont United Methodist Church on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Dr. Steve Galyon officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Hill Memorial Park with military rites conducted by American Legion Posts #3/265 and Tennessee National Guard.
