Ricky Monroe Neeley, 22, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
He was born September 9, 1991, at Holston Valley Hospital to parents Ricky and Terri Neeley. Rick Graduated from Sullivan South High School in May 2009 with an Honors diploma.
Rick was one of the most caring and lovable individuals. He enjoyed sports to the fullest, most of all football. He was a firm believer in God. He was a perfectionist in all things especially in his career choice of carpentry. Rick was an excellent son, father, brother and friend to all. His main priority was his sweet babies. We were definitely blessed to have been able to share the last 22 years with him.
Rick is survived by two children, Nevaeh and Xavier Neeley; father and mother, Ricky and Terri Neeley of Kingsport; brother, Travis Neeley and wife, Rhonda of Mt. Carmel, TN; sister, Brandy Sproles of Kingsport; nieces and nephews, Jordan and Brooklyn Sproles of Kingsport and Tyler and Katie Stacey of Mt. Carmel, TN, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Cody officiating.
The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Highland Church Cemetery, 485 Highland Church Rd, Johnson City, TN 37615.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Dorton, Ryan Collier, Travis O'Quinn, George Harless, Taylor McGlothlin, and Bobby Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Hall, Steve Harless, and Bobby Taylor.
