Robert "Bob" Aaron Johnson

Robert “Bob” Aaron Johnson, 82, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2023, at his residence.  Bob attended Mary Hughes High School in Piney Flats, TN, and worked for Quebecor World for 42 years as a Pressman before retiring.  A man of all trades, he could do and build anything.  Bob was a black angus cattle farmer and loved gardening.  He never failed to help anyone in need any time of the day or night. 

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brickey Johnson; parents, Arvil and Veda Chase Johnson; and sister, Judy Johnson Galloway.

Those left to cherish his memory are his special daughter, Robin Osborne Crowe and husband Robert; grandson, Daniel Osborne (Rachel K.); granddaughter, Rachel Lee Osborne; sister Karen Hart (Paul); brother-in-law, Earl Galloway; sisters-in-law, Ina Rhea Miller (Johnny), and Billie Flanary; nephews; Daniel Galloway (Donna), Mark Galloway, David Hart (Kim), John Miller, Mickey Miller (Christy), Jeff Flanary (Susan); niece, Kristi Jeter (Chris); special friends, Jim and Peggy Snavely; special caregiver, Angela Scalf; and Bob’s beloved dog, Sascha.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Blountville, TN.  The service will be held at 12:00 noon. Entombment to follow. 

Pallbearers will be Daniel Osborne, Daniel Galloway, John Miller, Mickey Miller, Anton “Rex” Osborne and Robert Crowe.
