Robert "Bobby" Earl Brumley

Robert "Bobby" Earl Brumley, 75, of Fall Branch, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Brookhaven Manor following an extended illness.

Bobby was born in Fall Branch, Tennessee and resided there his entire life. He was a loving father and grandfather, an avid Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan, a wonderful gardener and could repair most anything. He worked as a residential contractor and painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clifford and Susie Smith Brumley; sisters, Eula Jackson and Ruby Light; sister-in-law, Brenda Brumley; and brothers-in-law, Robert Jackson and Bill Bruner.

Bobby is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Teresa Brumley; grandson, Brandon Brumley; step-granddaughters, Nikki and April, all of Sevierville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Troy Pinson of Fall Branch, and sisters, Helen Hammonds of Kingsport and Mildred Bruner of Fall Branch; brothers, Jerry Brumley and Howard Brumley, both of Fall Branch, and Jack Brumley and wife, Esteline of Mt. Airy, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Brookhaven Manor, especially the fourth wing and Angel and JoJo for their compassion and care.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch and also anytime at the home of Troy and Jean's. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Shawn Cutshall and Pastor Vic Wallace officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Fall Branch. Family and friends will service as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Fall Branch, Cemetery Fund, 1525 Hwy 93, Fall Branch, TN 37656.
