Robert Gene Ferguson

Robert Gene Ferguson, of Fall Branch, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born August 29, 1948 in Kingsport and was a life long resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Margaret Ferguson and brother, Tommy Ferguson.

Robert is survived by his wife Norma Ferguson; daughters, Donna Ferguson Absher and husband Daniel and Marcy Kirkpatrick and husband Casey; granddaughters, Kasey Ferguson and Whitney Liner; grandson, Justin Moody; daughters by marriage, Theresa Ray and husband Donnie and Lisa Depew and husband Todd; granddaughters, Stephanie, Kaylie, Chelsie, Wendi, and Jamie; grandson, Tyler Ray; brothers, Charles Ferguson, Wayne Ferguson, Roy Ferguson and wife Tammy, and John Ferguson; several nieces and nephews; and special family, Dr. Virginia Justus and husband Edd.

The family wishes to thank to all his friends at 'Big Orange'.

The family will hold a private service at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
