Robert "Buster" Haren

Robert “Buster” Haren, 80, of Fall Branch, went home to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, September 7, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Fall Branch and was a graduate of Fall Branch High School. He worked until retirement in the wholesale hardware industry. Following his retirement, he worked at Fall Branch School for 14 years. Buster was a devoted member of Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother and a friend to all who knew him.

Buster was preceded in death by his parents, Herman (Booty) and Onna Haren; and four brothers, Wimpy, Dale, Ray and Don Haren.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammy Haren; daughter, Laura Haren and fiancé, Stephen Smith; son, Matthew Haren and wife, Ashley; two sisters, Katie Jones and husband, Dan, and Sandra Hayes and husband, Randy; three brothers, Fred Haren, Lynn Haren and wife, Crystal, and Sam Haren and wife, Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The memorial service will follow with Pastor Wade McAmis officiating.
