Robert Richie Kilgore

Robert Richie Kilgore, 55, Ft. Lauderdale, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.

He enjoyed his family and NASCAR. He was a tradesman specializing in carpentry and painting.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie Christian Kilgore; sister, Robin Kilgore; brother, Ray Kilgore; and nephew, Austin Brandon.

He is survived by his fiancée, Susan Smith; daughter, Brittany Kilgore; son, Tanner Kilgore; grandson, Cayden R. Kilgore; fiancée-in-law, Ronnie Leonard; sisters, Rhonda L. Kilgore and Mary E. Kilgore; special niece, Miranda Kilgore; special nephew, Sgt. Jeremy Kilgore and family stationed in Germany; nephew, Timothy Drinnon; special cousin, Jeffrey Kilgore; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Penny Nunley.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Valley View Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Salley officiating.

Visitation will follow at Mary Kilgore's house.
