Robert Parkerson
Robert Thomas "Bob" Parkerson, 86, Kingsport, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008.
He served in the U. S. Navy and retired from Tennessee Eastman Company.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Nunley Parkerson; his parents, G. W. and Elora Parkerson; and a son, Bobby Joe Parkerson.
Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Parkerson, Kingsport; two grandchildren, Todd Strickland and LeAnne Strickland; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Monday at the funeral home with Dr. James B. Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
