Robert Richardson

He served in the Navy for six years and retired from Eastman Chemical Company after thirty three years of service; during that time he worked in Polymers. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman. He lived in Kingsport most of his life but moved to Gallatin sixteen years ago to enjoy his grandkids.

His mother, Maggie Vaughn Richardson, father Robert Wayne Richardson, his brother Russell Wayne Richardson, father and mother-in-law Robert W. and Ruby Mowdy Odham preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Odham Richardson and daughter Rhonda Richardson Rippy and husband, Wade; grandchildren, Morgan Rippy, Kaleb Rippy and Trevor Rippy; great-grandchildren, Tim and Janie Hicks; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Janice Keys and Samuel and Debbie K. Odham; step brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Debbie Jennings.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Saturday (December 13, 2014) at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor J. W. Depew officiating.

Graveside services will be Sunday (December 14, 2014) at 11 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Wade Rippy, Kaleb Rippy, Trevor Rippy, Tim Hicks, Mark Odham, Jimmy Bowser, David Keys, and Sam Odham.
