Robert "Bob" Lee Sauer, 76, died Tuesday, March 13. He is now in the loving arms of Christ.
Bob was a member of Bible Baptist Church where he was a faithful door-greeter and Awana worker. Originally from Chicago, IL, he retired from J. P. Stevens. He travelled around the world to pursue his hobby of scenic photography.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Ruth Sauer.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elvina Ann Ardrey Sauer.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 at Bible Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Don McCann officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 18 at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 3217, Kingsport TN 37664.
