Robert Wayne Taylor

Robert Wayne Taylor, 54, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, after a brief illness. He was a 1980 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and spent his life working in the HVAC industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ernest and Jane (Adams) Taylor; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Wayne is survived by his three children, Rachael Carroll of Kingsport, TN, Raegan Taylor of Smyrna, TN, and Adam (Ashley) Taylor of LaVergne of TN; seven grandchildren, Nathan Taylor, Kayleigh Carroll, and Nicholas Carroll of Kingsport, TN, Preston Taylor and Emily Braman-Taylor of Smyrna, TN, Owen Taylor and Carly Taylor of LaVergne, TN; two sisters, Nancy (David) Puckett of Kingsport, TN, and Alice Taylor of Knoxville, TN; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Gardeners Chapel in Hiltons, Virginia.
