Robert "Jack" Wilson

Robert "Jack" Wilson, 97, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 10, 2013, at his home.

Jack was a member of West View Missionary Baptist Church. He was a carpenter for the majority of his life and later was a crew manager for a local construction company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby L. Wilson; two daughters, Brenda Stackman and Sherry Morrison; three brothers; two sisters; and three half brothers.

Jack is survived by his son, R. J. "Bob" Wilson, Jr., of Kingsport, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. The graveside service will be on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jack's grandsons.
