Robin Murray

Robin Wade Murray, 46, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his residence. Born in Frankfurt, Germany on March 7, 1968, a son of Sonya Patterson Murray of Kingsport and the late Sam Murray, he had resided in this area most of his life. Robin was of the protestant faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and an industrial welder.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lisa Murray of Rocky Mount, NC; son, Levi Dude Murray of Rocky Mount, NC; daughter, Ashley Nichole Nordan of Rocky Mount, NC; mother, Sonya Patterson Murray of Kingsport; sister, Dusk Banks and husband, Shayne of Kingsport; two nieces, Saige Coffman and Leah Banks; and nephew, Jacob Banks.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday in the Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Pastor Joshua Banks officiating. A flag presentation will be provided by the American Legion Posts 3/265. A reception of friends will follow the service.
