Rocky W. Ennis, 56, Kingsport, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. Rocky enjoyed life and his family whom he loved very much. He had a heart as big as the world and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Rocky liked working on cars with his father-in-law. He was always there for anyone with a helping hand.
Rocky was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly.
His parents; a sister; and three brothers preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ennis of Kingsport; one daughter, Katanna Ennis of Kingsport; three sons, Josh Hodges and wife April of Piney Flats, Matthew Hodges and Frank Eller, both of Bristol, TN; five grandchildren, Paige, Mara, Autumn, Andrew, and Amika; one sister, Brenda Ramirez of Kingsport; one brother, David Ennis of Kingsport; loving mother-in-law, Barbara Foulk; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Larry W. Snapp and Dan Havens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Shane Hubbard officiating.
