Roger Dean Pope, of Rogersville, left this earth on Friday February 8, 2008.
He was an avid fisherman and loved the game of golf.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Pearl Pope.
Surviving are four sons, Bradley Pope, Wake Forest, NC, Jonathan, Ryan, and Eric Pope, all of Gate City, VA; his father, Charles "Pete" Pope, Kingsport; brothers, Richard "Rick" Pope, Russell "Russ" Pope, both of Kingsport; best friend, Debbie McPeek, Rogersville; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will be at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Earl Cummings and Rev. Malcolm Shelton officiating.
Burial will be at East Lawn.
