Rollin Ronald Arnold

Rollin ?Ronald? Arnold, 73, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 16, 2007, at his home following a brief illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and retired from Holston Valley Community Hospital following 33 years of service. Ronald was a child of the King.

His parents, Robert and Lou Arnold, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda Shupe Arnold, Kingsport; three daughters, Donna Debien, Kingsport, Debbie Hall and husband, Richard, Kingsport, Melinda Brummitt and husband, Mark, Kingsport; two sons, Shannon Arnold, Kingsport, Dusty Arnold and wife, Amy, Kingsport; five grandchildren, Chad Debien, Shaun Arnold, Lacey Arnold, Diane Hall, Daniel Russell; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Parvin, Kingsport, Joyce McClellan, Kingsport; three brothers, Briscoe Arnold and wife, Glenda, Gate City, VA, Harry Arnold and wife, Shirley, Kingsport, Scott Arnold and wife, Samantha, Blountville; several great-grandchildren, special niece; Debbie Miller, and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or any time at the home at 212 Newland Avenue.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Buddy Edwards and Rev. Clarence Necessary officiating. Come rejoice, for Ronald has gone to be with his heavenly father. Burial will follow at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
