Ronald W. Morgan, 63, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born in Kingsport on July 6, 1949, and resided in Kingsport his entire life.

Ronald attended Dawn of Hope Development Center for 40 years. He was a member and attended Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a very special person who influenced a lot of people who knew him. He loved singing and to have family gatherings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Edith Morgan; two brothers, his twin, Donald and Roger Morgan; niece, Michele Bolas; grandparents, Robert and Ora Winegar and Frank and Nerva Morgan.

Ronald is survived by three sisters, Judy Henry and husband, Jack, Joyce Salyer and husband, Tommy, Brenda Kilgore and husband, Jim; sisters-in-law, Sandra Morgan and Kathy Morgan; two aunts; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins; special friend, Helen Jackson.

The family would like to express special thanks to Jessica Daniel and all the caregivers from Enhanced Support Services in Johnson City.

Pallbearers will be Shane Hall, Josh Bacon, Bill Blevins, Justin Dykes, Caleb Massey, Terrance Manuel, Kevin Moton and David Kollie.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Amos, Jr. and Rev. Roy Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at Ronald's home.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Area 3 Special Olympics, P. O. Box 4594, Johnson City, TN 37620 or to a charity of one's choice.
