Ronald (Ron) Hensley

Ronald (Ron) Hensley, 73, Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home. Ronald was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from AFG Greenland. His biggest joys in life were his grandchildren and his dog, Oscar.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Hensley; mother, Grace Hensley; brother, Jerry Hensley; two sisters-in-law, Eula Hensley and Sue Stapleton.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Smith and husband George; Tammy Espinosa and husband Frank; son, Lance Hensley and wife Brittany; seven grandchildren, Jesse, Jacy, Sophia, Paisley, Connor, Michael, and Adrian; two sisters, Linda Crawley and Audrey Nelms; two brothers, Gary Hensley and Lynn Jarrett; sister-in-law, Donline Hensley; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday (July 26, 2018) from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.

Services will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel in Fall Branch.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 3/265.
