Ronald Guy Williams, 72, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Veteran's Hospital, Mountain Home, TN.
He was an Army veteran having served in Germany.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Thelma Hilton Williams; an infant daughter, Raquell Allena Williams; and brother, Jackson Lee Williams.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Kay Anderson Williams; daughter, Rebecca A. McClain and husband, John of Bluff City; stepdaughter, Heather P. Doub and husband, Chad of Kingsport; granddaughter, Hannah McClain; step-granddaughters, Emily and Rachel Doub; brothers, James S. Williams and wife, Helen of Clinchport and their sons, David and Doug; Dale H. Williams and wife, Wilma of Gate City and their daughters, Vicki and Lisa; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family, friends, and his special dog "Tinker".
The family will received friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Kingsley United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Leonard and Rev. Adam Love officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery/Anderson Cemetery with military honors conducted by the American Legion Posts No. 3/265.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Hilton, John McClain, Chad Doub, Matt Kimbler, Doug Williams and David Williams.
