Ronda Ann Murphy

Ronda A. Murphy, 51, of Kingsport, went to be with her parents in heaven on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

She was a loving daughter, wife and sister. Ronda was an LPN, caring mainly for geriatric patients until her health prevented her from working. She loved helping people. Ronda loved cats and had several at her home. She made sweets, especially rock candy at Christmas time.

Ronda was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Helen Bragg, along with several other family members.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Patrick “Pat” Murphy; brother, Rick Bragg; sister, Robin Housewright; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Will Shewey officiating. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Walker’s Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45pm.
