Ronnie Coomer

Ronald "Ronnie" Coomer, 46, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2016 after a brief illness. He enjoyed the outdoors, Tennessee football and Dobyns-Bennett football. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Coomer; maternal grandparents, Banner and Nellie Skeen; paternal grandparents, James and Dona Mae Coomer; uncle, Robert Salyer; and special friend, Russell Vaughn.

Ronnie is survived by companion of ten years, Tammy Brown and her sons, Anthony and Shannon Hunt; mother, Glenna Coomer; brothers, Sam Coomer and Jimmy Coomer and wife, Shawna; sister, Rebecca Ketron and fiancé, Scott Taylor; special uncle, Buford Salyer; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Ashley, Johnathan, Justin, Brandon, Stephanie, Heather, and Amber; great-nephews, Peyton, Jordan, Jackson, and Chase; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Wayne Gilliam, Howard Dockery, and Raymond Hammonds officiating.

Burial will follow at Skeen Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Sayler, Gary Salyer, Bill Sons, Bobby Baldwin, Shannon Hunt, Neil Lane, Scott Taylor, Johnathan Ketron, and Anthony Hunt.
