Ronnie Allen Doss

Ronnie Allen Doss, 35, of Rogersville, passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday morning, April 4th, 2009. He was a loving husband and father.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Everett Mathew Doss, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Julie Huffman; paternal grandmother, Kate Doss; paternal grandfather, Everett Mathew Doss; and two aunts, Pam Huffman and Rachel Penley.

Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Angie Simpson Doss of the home; two sons, Logan Doss and Tristan Doss both of the home; his mother, Peggy Doss and step-father Richard Chase of Jonesborough; three sisters, Lori Penley and husband Carson Junior Penley of Greeneville, Tammy Carder of Jonesborough, Amy Guy and husband Steve Guy of Kingsport; two brothers, Everett Mathew Doss, III and wife Teresa Doss of Arkansas, Michael Doss of Beckley, WV; several nephews, nieces and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8th, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Simpson and Rev. Rex Miller officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesborough. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wykle, Greg Simpson, Norman Simpson, John Penley, Douglas Miller and Travis Miller.
