RON FUGATE

“A legendary man”

Ronnie Lee “Ron” Fugate, 65, of Kingsport went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly, Friday, November 15, 2019 at Indian Path Medical Center Emergency Room.  He was born in Kingsport TN on January 15, 1954, a son of the late Herman and Jeanette Fugate,  he has resided in this area his entire life. Ron graduated from Twin Springs High School.  Mr. Fugate has been employed by Smith’s Garbage Services with 40 plus years of service. Ron will be remembered as a loving and devoted dad, papaw, brother and friend who loved to spend time with his grandchildren and loved to work.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Jeanette Fugate.

Ron is survived by his sons, Travis Fugate and Chad Fugate (Angel); five grandchildren Hunter, Chad Blake, Jasmine, Jada and Seth and soon to be born great grandchild; two sisters Valerie and Edna; two brothers Howard and Danny; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; special friends Marcella Langrel and Michael “Red”  Perry.
