Roscoe C. Cecil, Jr., 64, of Church Hill, born July 22, 1948 in Owensboro, KY, lost his battle with cancer Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
He was a supervisor for Dyno Nobel where he had worked for 35 years. Roscoe had a special love for his family and friends, animals, nature, and classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe C. Cecil, Sr.; and a son, Bret Cecil.
Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Paula Cecil; son, Ryan Cecil and wife Erica of Seattle, WA; mother, Rachel Cecil of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Kathy Fuller and husband Mike of Keswick, VA; two nieces, Jennifer Herring and husband Joe of Hope Mills, NC, Amanda Fuller of Keswick, VA; and one great-niece, Avery Herring.
There are no services planned.
