Rosie Perry

Rosie Olivet Hilton Perry, 89, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at her home.

Born in Grainger County, she had lived most of her life in Kingsport and was a member of Living Praise Assembly of God Church.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Cassel Cat Hilton; her second husband, Paul W. Perry; and three sons, Joe Snooks Hilton, James Toot Hilton, and Paul Hilton.

Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Roberts, Rogersville, Hazel Butler and husband, Leon, Gainesville, GA; two sons, Charles Rod Hilton, Hickory, N.C., John Hilton and wife, Billie, Kingsport; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Lunsford, Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Yates officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
