Roy Kyle Carroll

Roy Kyle Carroll, 80, of Kingsport, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center.  Kyle was born in Sullivan County where he had lived his entire life.  He retired from Kingsport Press in 1988.  Kyle was a member of Clouds Bend United Methodist Church.

Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Carroll.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Carroll; daughter, Melinda Carroll; sons, Donald Carroll and wife, Wanda, and Lowell Carroll and wife, Terri; stepdaughters, Donna Brock and husband, Bob, and Kimberly Warren; 6 grandchildren, Kevin Carroll, Brett Carroll, Amanda Vance, Christina Brock, Candra Lane and Atlee Warren; several great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
