Roy Davidson

Roy Davidson, 86, of Kingsport, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Elmcroft Assisted Living. Born in Yuma, VA, he had resided in Kingsport for most of his life. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Johnson City. He was a member of the American Legion #3/265 and the VFW #3382.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Davidson; daughter, Glenna Begley and husband Frank; step-daughter, Kim Starnes; three step-sons, Thomas Starnes and wife Glenda, Todd Starnes and wife Tammy, and Shannon Starnes and wife Lisa; several grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and brother, Robert Davidson and wife Shane.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

Entombment services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at East Tennessee Cemetery with Pastor Clarence Bear officiating, and Military Rites by The American Legion #3/265.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
