Roy Junior Gibson
Roy Junior Gibson, 66, Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, while in transit to Nashville Burn Center. Junior had been sick for several months. He had served as a referee throughout the area. He was a caring father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Annie Mae Gibson; and one sister, Carolyn Hall.
Junior is survived by his children, Vickie Gibson of New Mexico, Stacy Gibson, Casey Gibson, Amanda Gibson, Dustin Gibson, and Tommy Gibson, all of Kingsport; ten grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in Yuma, VA. The memorial service will follow with Pastor Margaret Pierce officiating.
