Roy Maness, Jr. passed away in Nashville, TN, Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
Born in Wise, VA, he attended Hampden-Sydney College and graduated from National Business College in Roanoke, VA. A CPA for 60 years, Mr. Maness was with Dent K. Burk Associates in Kingsport until his retirement.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn A. Maness; his parents, Roy Franklin and Tot Fulton Maness; and his sister Betty Brainard.
Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Maness; two grandchildren, Keith and Elisabeth Hudson; and great-granddaughter, Bailey Hudson.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
