Ruby Darlene Crawford Morrison, 61, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, November 19, 2007.

She had a strong Christian faith and loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be missed dearly. Darlene was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Clara Belle Crawford; her father, Frank Crawford; an infant daughter, Christy Leigh Morrison; and a sister, Annie Johnson.

Ruby is survived by her three children a daughter, Teresa Trent and husband Aaron, Sneedville, TN, a son, Chris Morrison and wife April, Kingsport, and a daughter, Carrie Morrison of the home; four grandchildren, Andy Trent, Eric Morrison, Charlie Trent, and Brooke Reed; three sisters, Elva Roberts, Irene Morelock and husband Carson, Shelby Crawford and husband Delmar; father of her children and friend, Ronnie Morrison; several nieces and nephews; and two very special great-nephews, Eddie Davis and J. C. Davis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Raymond Perry officiating. Honorary minister will be Rev. Orville Dolen.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
