Ruby Wheeler

Ruby Wheeler, 86, of Kingsport, died at Asbury Center at Baysmont on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Born in Greene County, she had resided in Kingsport since 1950. Ruby was a graduate of Fall Branch High School and valedictorian of her class, a graduate of Whitney's Business College and attended Tusculum College. She retired from Tennessee Eastman in 1986 after 42 years of service and worked for Dr. Samuel Breeding at Holston Medical Group for many years until her health declined. Ruby was a member of Waverly Road Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Zona Wheeler; twin sisters, Hattie and Mattie Wheeler; and her twin sister, Ruth Wheeler.

Ruby is survived by her sister, Mary Clear and husband, Robert of Kingsport; nephew, Eric Clear and wife, Misty of Kingsport; and great-nieces Aarika and Jessika.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 21st, from 6-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport or anytime at the home of Bob and Mary Clear. Funeral services will follow with The Rev. Daniel S. Clark officiating.
