Rudolph "Rudy" E. Corona, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Marie Bonvacine Corona. He retired from Martin Marietta in Paducah, KY after 30 years of service. Rudy loved bass fishing and watching the Chicago Cubs baseball and Lady Vols. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Corona, and sister, Rene Hajduch.
Rudy is survived by his son, Mark Corona and wife, LeAnna of Blountville; two grandchildren, Caitlin Ball and husband, David, and Caleb Corona; great-granddaughter, Paislee Jane Ball; sister-in-law, Shirley Borah of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Dan Zambo and wife, Jacquie of Munster, IN; and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Michael Cummins officiating. The inurnment service will follow at the St. Dominic Columbarium.
