Russell G. Trimble, 87, died Tuesday afternoon December 7, 2010, at Indian Path Medical Center.
Born in Kingsport, he served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Russell was formerly employed with Eastman Chemical for thirty-four years. He was a member of Kingsport Community Church.
Surviving are his wife, Christene Horton Trimble, Kingsport, TN; a son Russell Harold Trimble and wife Setsuko, Otter Rock, OR; grandson, Russell Grey Trimble, II, Houston, TX; sisters, Ruth Trimble, Kingsport, TN; and Virginia Smith, Oak Ridge, TN; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 11-1:00 p.m. Friday at the Kingsport Community Church with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Ron Lowe and Rev. Chris Ricketts will officiate.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
