Ruth Hawkins

Ruth Ann Hawkins, 61, Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at her home.

She was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church and Friendship Connection.

Ruth was a happy, free spirit who enjoyed life and will be dearly missed.

Her parents, Clifford and Evelyn Hawkins preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sisters, Judy Blevins, Kingsport, TN; and Linda Wisneski and husband Jim, New Lenox, IL; brother, Larry Hawkins, Crete, IL; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Cowden, Jennie Blevins, Brian Hawkins, Michael Wisneski, and Mellisa Boender; several great nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Princess.

Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Friends may also call any time at the home of her niece, Jennie.

Services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
