Ruth McCloud

Ruth Hall McCloud, 80, died Thursday, August 4th, 2011 at 11:00p.m. at Church Hill Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. A life long resident of Kingsport and homemaker, Mrs. McCloud was one of the founders of the Chosen Few Church in Hawkins County.

Ruth was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra McCloud Miracle and Sylvia Louise Derrick, parents George Hall and Maggie Rust Hall, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Roma Tina Derrick and husband Thomas, three sons Charles McCloud and wife Sandy, Stanley George McCloud and wife Sheila and Thomas Martin McCloud and wife Lisa, all of Church Hill. 27 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, August 6th from 5-7:00p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport and at anytime at home of Roma Derrick daughter, 1787 Barrett Hollow Rd.

The service will be held on August 6th at 7:00p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport, Rev. Larry Derrick Jr. and Rev. Timothy Jarrett officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 7th at 1:00p.m. at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
