Ruth Naomi Dingus

Ruth Naomi Dingus, 87, of Dahlonega, formally of Kingsport, TN passed away peacefully on May 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born on June 11, 1929 in Sneedville, TN to the late James and Mary Ann Kinsler. She was saved at an early age and a lifelong member of Clinch River Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Hugh Kyle Kinsler, Willard Kinsler, Alma Lawson, Doyle Kinsler, James Kinsler, Marthie Wallen, Bruce Kinsler, Dwayne Kinsler, and John Kinsler.

Ruth is survived by her loving daughter and caretaker Michelle Roland and husband, Curtis, of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Kasey Logan Smith, Nathaniel Lee Smith, Taylor Nicole Roland; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Lee Smith, Jr. and Zaiden Jace Brewer; brothers, Morris Kinsler of Bean Station, TN and Robert Kinsler of Morristown, TN; and sister, Mary Joe Hankins of Ellijay, GA.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel at
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Salley officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
