Sally Carroll

Sally Ann B. Carroll, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2016 following an extended illness. Sally was born in Washington State and had resided in Kingsport for most of her life. She was an employee of Food City where she had worked for a number of years, retiring due to health reasons. Sally was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Ashley Shaffer in 2007.

Sally is survived by her husband, Hoyt Edward Carroll, of the home; children, Michelle Shaffer of Kingsport, Annette Spurlock and husband, Alan of Fall Branch, TN, and Hoyt Carroll, Jr. of Kingsport; two grandchildren, Gary Lee Shaffer and wife, Stephanie, and Anna Spurlock; great-grandson, Gary Lee "Tripp" Shaffer, III; three sisters, Dona Haviik and husband, Wally, Judy Warren, and Dorothy Peterson and husband, David, all of Washington State; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
