Sam Johnson, 30, Kingsport, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Sam was a 1999 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and employed by Tennessee Electric.
His father, Glen Johnson and maternal grandfather, Richard Crawford preceded him in death.
Sam is survived by his daughter, Sydney Johnson, Kingsport; mother, Brenda Johnson, Johnson City; brother, Alan Johnson, Johnson City; paternal grandparents, Earl and Janet Johnson, Arlington, TX; maternal grandmother, Berlie Crawford, Johnson City; special cousin, Ashley Deyton, Erwin; and several aunts, uncles, and other cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport with a memorial service to follow.
