Samuel Edward Booher, 82, of Blountville, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 18, 2007 at Greystone Health Care.
He was born in Kingsport and a preacher of the gospel. Mr. Booher was a member of Rock City Freewill Baptist Church.
Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Margaret Booher of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronny and Karen Booher, Mitch and Sherry Booher, all of Bristol, TN, Gary and Sharon Booher of Kingsport, Sammy and Carolyn Hartsock of Cold Springs, TX; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Burton and Rev. David Tydings officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joe Repass, Bob Repass, Randall Jeter, Daniel Necessary, Jack Ferguson and John Love.
