Samuel Bascom Mullins, 66, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord, Friday June 29, 2012 at Indian Path Medical Center.
Samuel was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time at the lake. Samuel retired from Brock in 2009 as an Insulation Mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Dolly Mullins; and two sisters, Margaret Caine and Sharon Mullins.
Samuel is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Fleenor Mullins; two daughters, Tina Taylor and husband Mark and Connie McReynolds all of Kingsport; son, Sammy Mullins of Kingsport; two brothers, Joe Mullins and wife Brenda of Hampton, TN and David Mullins and wife Joyce of Kingsport; sister, Brenda Mullins of Indianapolis, Indiana; two granddaughters, Jessica Farmer and husband Cody and Mahaley McReynolds, all of Kingsport; four grandsons, Hunter, Colton, Austin McReynolds and Jordan Taylor, all of Kingsport; great-granddaughter, Brylie Farmer; great-grandson, Bladen Farmer; sister-in-law, Tammy Good and husband Scott, brother-in-law, James Fleenor and wife Carol; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Hilltop Mission Church. Services will be held at 2 p.m. with Brother Lanny Mullins officiating.
Interment will follow the services at Hilltop Mission Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Scott Good, Cody Farmer, Michael Seaver, and his grandsons.
