Sandra Bowery

Sandra Jean King Bowery, 70, of Kingsport with to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born in Kingsport, she had lived in this area all her life. She was a cook at Jefferson Elementary for nearly 20 years. 

A good wife, and a loving mother and sister, she was a consistent rock for her family. A member of Homeland Baptist Church, she enjoyed working with the kids in Awana. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Minnie King; brother-in-law, Paul Dillow; niece, Cindy King; and sister-in-law, Keith King.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Rick Bowery; son, Austin Bowery and girlfriend Beth Cofield and her daughter, Rose; sister, Nancy Dillow; brother, Connie King and Steve King and wife Carolyn; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday December 14th, 2024 from 10:00am till 11:00am at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Bro. Tommy Griffin officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
