Sandra F. Gray Harmon, 66, of Kingsport passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 and rejoined her much loved and missed husband, Bob with the Lord in heaven. A lifelong resident of Kingsport, she had retired from First American Bank in 1989 after 16 years of service as a bank teller. Sandy was of the Baptist faith and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Harmon; parents, Hubert and Ann Gray; mother and father-in-law, Mary Ellen and Thomas Harmon.
Survivors include her sons, Charles R. Harmon, Jr. of Kingsport, Christopher R. Harmon and wife, Betty of Kingsport; four grandchildren, Abigail Grace, Samuel Christopher Robert, identical twin boys-Eli Cole and Evan Gray; two sisters, Diane Gilmore and husband, Gary of Kingsport, Jane Harwood and husband, Bill of Kingsport; two brothers, Ronnie Gray of Odenton, MD, Kim Gray and wife, Wendi of Acworth, GA; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Harmon, Jr. of Kingsport, Jerry Harmon of Milwaukie, OR, three nieces and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Roy Graves officiating.
An entombment service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
