Sara K. Collins

Sara Collins, 58, Kingsport, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016.

She was a native of Kingsport and of the Christian faith. She was a quiet, soft-spoken, independent and unassuming kind soul who always cared about others before herself.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Bobbie Minton Collins and her brother, Roy Lee Collins.

She is survived by her sisters, Amy Woods (Darris) and Beth Hammons (Charlie) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Al South officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
