Sarah Pauline Kicklighter
Sarah Pauline "Polly" Kicklighter passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning July 4, 2010 at Holston Manor in Kingsport, TN. She Knew her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Glennville, GA. She also attended Faith Primitive Baptist Church in Kingsport.
She was born in Sullivan County, TN, on August 5, 1931 to her parents, Arthur Bruce and Sarah Christina Smith Hilton.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry L. Kicklighter; her sisters, Chelsea Rupe, Jamie Moody, Mamie. Lady, and Mary Parker; and her brothers, William, McDowell, Kermit, Elmer, Perry and W.G. Hilton.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Angie Kicklighter, Kingsport; several nephews, nieces, and cousins; as well as family and friends in Glennville, GA where she lived for several years before moving back to Kingsport in 1980.

The family will receive friends from 5 7 p.m. Monday at Faith Primitive Baptist Church, 443 Dillow Drive, Kingsport turn left just past Alvis-Kilby Lumber & Hardware. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Elder Earl Singleton and Elder Leonard Davis officiating.
Graveside services will be at 12 p.m.Wednesday in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Glennville, GA, with Elder David Summerford officiating.
