Scott R. Collier, 53, of 772 Bancroft Chapel Road, Kingsport, passed away Monday morning, October 8, 2007, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was employed at Sarver Construction as a carpenter for over 20 years. Scott enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Preceding him in death were his father, Ray Collier; his paternal grandmother, Mollie Collier; maternal grandfather, Joe Million; and a brother, Robby Collier.

Surviving are his mother, Betty Collier, Kingsport; daughter, Melissa Castle and husband, Chris, Kingsport, TN; two grandsons, Jackson Castle, Cooper Castle; and maternal grandmother, Clarice Million, and fiancée, Rhee Wallen and daughters, Shayrea Linkous and Shonda Linkous, both of Church Hill, TN. ; three sisters, Mona Collier, Judy Housewright and Bill Webb, and Penny Wright and husband, Jim, all of Kingsport; a niece, Brandy Collier; nephews, Mike Housewright, Jonathan Housewright, Daniel Collier, Chris Wright, Stephen Wright; great-niece, Gracie Collier; great-nephew, Ben Housewright.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport and any time at the home at 722 Bancroft Chapel Road.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday at Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
