Scott Lane

Scott Lane, 49, Church Hill, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Scott was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Greene, and niece, Robin Olterman.

Scott is survived by his wife, Tammy Lane; 2 daughters, Jessica Wright and husband, Roger, and Josie Guy and husband, Aaron; 2 sons, Dusty Brice and wife, Holli, and Anthony Lane and girlfriend, Michelle; 7 grandchildren, Cherokee, Libertie, Spirit, Austin, Preston, A.J. and Journey; his daddy, Sherman Lane and Teresa; 4 brothers, Coleman Stacy and Elizabeth, Sanford Lane, Pat Lane and wife, Diane, and Travis Lane; and special niece, Brittany Evans.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, or anytime at the home of his daddy, Sherman. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Greg Fletcher officiating. The family is asking for everyone who is attending the service to please wear their Dallas Cowboys attire and jeans.
