Sharon Steadman Shoemaker

Sharon Steadman Shoemaker, 72, of Kingsport, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, following an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marjorie Steadman.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Gina Houser and husband Jerry; two grandchildren, Matthew Houser and wife Chelsea, and Madison Houser; two sisters, Linda Selby and Carolyn Watts; two nieces, Melissa Selby and Katie Watts; and two nephews, Tim Selby and Brandon Watts.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Depews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
