Sharron L. Perkins, 56, of 287 Fordtown Road, Fall Branch, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Kingsport and was a lifelong resident of this area. She graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and received an Associate degree in accounting from Draughons Junior College. She was a Baptist, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Sharron was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dale Taylor; her parents, Harry and Beatrice Taylor; and a nephew, Darrell Hendrix.
Surviving are her husband, Jack E. Perkins, Jr., of Fall Branch; a daughter, Contessia "Tess" Page and husband, Greg, of Mt. Carmel; a son, Jack E. Perkins, III, and special friend, Ashlie Suiter, Fall Branch; two granddaughters, Victoria Page and Katie Perkins; two sisters, Doris Taylor Hendrix and husband, Roy, Manchester, TN, and Wilma Taylor Ray and husband, Don, Kingsport; a brother, Robert Taylor, Sarasota, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Pate officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am. Tuesday at Holston View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Perkins, Chris Perkins, Gene Wishon, Arnold Roberts, Craig Conrey, Rick Hall, and Brad Wishon.
